The LS-6 LeiShi (Thunder Stone) extended range glide bomb is based on the Mk83 low drag bomb. It has a modular homing unit and two sets of wings, and is used to modify a standard "dumb" bomb into a precision-guided weapon for use from a distance. Guidance is automatic, combined inertial with GPS. The probable mean circular deviation (CEP) is 15 m. The maximum range of the LS-6P version is up to 60 km, exceeding the range of medium-range anti-aircraft systems.
