The IP beam extending device (VYZA) is intended for extending and laying IP beams of bridge temporary structures, for laying rail spans and other loads up to a maximum weight of 10 t and a length of 26 m. In doing so, the crane must be in the working position on the railway chassis model 53, on which it is transportable on the railway. In essence, it is a rail-mounted cantilever crane with a towed cat, also transportable by road.
The VYZA folds :
- from the crane with accessories, - from the screw screw device - consisting of 2 pairs of hand jacks in stands and 2 cross bars. Max. Load capacity of the whole device is 0 t, - from the means of road transport, - from a 30 kVA, 380 /220 V trailer-mounted power pack.
Crane
It is a tubular structure with limited sideways rotation of the boom. It consists essentially of a crane car spring-loaded on two Model 53 railway chassis and a boom in which a cat and beam trailer moves along its length. The boom is carried by two four-wheeled trolleys which can move along the entire length of the crane car.
Depending on the position of the boom on the crane carriage, the crane may be a crane :
(a) in the transport position ( retracted and secured by folding brackets), b) in the working position, i.e. the crane boom is extended .
