Graveling machine TDG 2 is designed for loading gravel or other track bed material into the track during construction, complex reconstruction, repairs and maintenance of railway lines.
The basis of the machine consists of a tracked bulldozer T 130 G - 1 equipped with a special semi-trailer for working with gravel and adapted for driving on the railway track.
The trailing device located in the front part of the tractor consists of a pusher frame on which a shield with side wings is suspended. At the rear of the tractor, an auxiliary swivel cantilever hydraulic crane is installed.
The operating controls of the front linkage are hydraulic and are operated by levers from the cab of the machine. The auxiliary crane is operated by a lever of the distributor located on the crane frame at the rear of the machine.
The loading of the gravel into the plough, which has previously been spread evenly along the length of the section of track to be renewed by the hopper cars, is done by driving the machine with the front shield lowered and the side wings open.
