Čestný odznak Za záchranu praporu
Odznak byl založen po ukončení světové války 1915-1918 rozhodnutím ministra obrany, personálním rozkazem ze dne 30. března roku 1922.
Ve statutu bylo přesně vymezeno a specifikováno komu lze odznak udělit. Byl určen všem bojovníkům bez rozdílů hodnosti, tedy vojínům, poddůstojníkům a důstojníkům Bulharské armády, kteří bojovali ve Velké válce 1915-1918, kdy Bulharská armáda stála pevně po boku Německa, Rakouska-Uherska a Turecka proti Srbsku.
