SDD - Long Range Station
Radio Electronic Signal Monitoring Station



It is a passive reconnaissance device for radioelectronic survey and monitoring of electronic signals developed by RAMET and VTÚO.
It is designed for searching, targeting and analysis of radar signals of land and maritime radar sources in the range of 360° and range up to 700 km, such as airport and surveillance radars, airborne radars, air defense radars, etc.
It uses a mono-pulse targeting method.
The cooperation of two or more stations is required to determine the exact position of the signal source.
It can cooperate with BORAP
The station consists of an evaluation section in a KSSK container transported on a truck T815-2 ARMAX NKSSK and an antenna unit on a four-wheel chassis with an electric power pack.


It is currently deployed with the 531st Passive Systems Battalion.
