T-30
A heavy tank with the designation T-30 was developed in the design department of the Bolshevik plant at the request of UMM RKKA from 1929. The vehicle design envisaged a twin-tower concept (turrets stacked as TG), armed with one 76.2 mm calibre gun, one 37 mm calibre gun and six machine guns. The vehicle, weighing around 55 tons, with armour up to 60 mm thick, was to be powered by a modified BMW IV aircraft engine (650 HP / vehicle speed 24 km/h) or an AM-6 engine (750 HP / 30 km/h). The project was completed in 1932, the prototype was not produced due to excessive complexity, the T-35 tank was preferred.
