In 1927 it was decided to further develop K.H.-50, whose performance was not satisfactory. The work was already carried out under the brand ČKD (the Breitfeld-Daněk company merged with the Českomoravská-Kolben company). The military administration ordered two prototypes again. The main change from K.H.-50 was the replacement of the engine with a more powerful version. Changes were also made to the hull design (cargo and engine compartments). The type also attracted interest from foreign buyers, and after the completion of a pair of KH-60s, these tractors were sold to the Soviet Union. Experience with the KH-60 led to the reconstruction of one KH-50. The MNO ordered the reconstruction of the tractor order no. 32.650-V/3 from 1927. The reconstructed tractor passed the acceptance tests on 17.1.1928 - 19.1.1928. After the tests it was decided to convert the KH-60 into a combat assault vehicle.
Older sources state that Italy probably bought one vehicle, designated KH-70, in 1930. Unfortunately, no information about such a deal and this designation has been found in the ČKD company archives or in the archival collections of the VHA (via. Jaroslav Špitálský1)).

The conversion of the reconstructed KH-60 tractor into a combat assault vehicle was carried out in ČKD Slaný on the basis of the order of the Military Technical Institute No. 17731/III.odděl. The body was made of relatively thin sheet metal. Tests continued until 11/1929. Sometime during 1929 a design for a new body was drawn up by the III. dept. of the VTU. On 16/12/1929 a Vickers gun of 47 mm calibre is dismounted and the following day it is transported on its own axis to ČKD, where a new body made of 6-14 mm thick sheet metal is to be mounted. From 12/1929 to 5/1930 the battlewagon is at ČKD where tests are carried out together with the VTU. On 21/5/1930 the vehicle was taken over and transported to Milovice. On 11/9/1930 the vehicle formally changes location when it is transferred to the possession of the Assault Carriage Regiment. In Milovice it is assigned to the 2nd Armoured Car Company. However, the vehicle is not used and sits in a garage. On 25.3.1931 the vehicle passed comparative driving tests with a Renault FT tank and a pair of Carden-Loyd tanks. After the trials it is again stored in a garage. In 12/1932 it was assigned police number 13,362. On 28/3/1933 it is paraded by the recruits of the military school. On 2/5/1933 the Commander of the Assault Carriage Battalion orders photographic documentation of the vehicle to be made. This was complied with, however the date of the photography is unknown. On the basis of Regimental Order No. 7 of 22.9.1933 the vehicle was assigned to the Auxiliary Company of the Assault Carriage Regiment. On 5.10.1933 it is transferred to the Assault Carriage School (on 15.9.1935 the unit was changed to the Assault Carriage School). Soon after the formation of the Assault Carriage School it was decided to abolish the unnecessary vehicle. The vehicle was stripped of its armour, but the chassis itself was registered as a school utility. The chassis was transferred from Milovice to Vyškov to the new location. Here it remained until the German occupation in 3/1939, when it was confiscated by the German authorities. It was probably quickly scrapped by the new owners.
