A modified version of the original HSCS 38M KV-40. Probably the biggest difference of the KV-50 over its predecessor is the engine with increased displacement and power. The machine was used to haul artillery ordnance, searchlights, acoustic apparatus for aircraft search, etc. The last 160th unit produced was modified into a half-track tractor Super KV-50.
