She was born 13. August 1912 in Wellington, New Zealand. In 1914 with her parents and five siblings moved to Sydney, Australia. She majored in journalism, and in 1932 she went to Europe to work as a journalist. First worked in London, later in Vienna and in Paris. In November 1939 she married French businessman Henri Fiocca Marseille.

Nancy experienced German foray into France in may 1940, and after the capitulation entered into the resistance under the codename White Mouse (White mouse). She helped organize the escape of more than a hundred persons, wanted by the nazis, to England. Her husband was a Gestapo caught and in 1943 executed. In December 1940 came Gestapo on the trail of her organization, and Nancy had to cross the Pyrenees into Spain and then via Gibraltar to England. Entered the army and became a member of the RAF and entered the SOE (special operations Command). Has undergone intensive training dealing with explosives, a pistol and a machine gun and killing without a gun. In addition, she learned to work with radio and encryption device, and completed paratrooper training.

29. April 1944 was planted parachute in the Auvergne in France to make contact with the French resistance before [the url=https://www.valka.cz//topic/view/1629]the invasion[/url] of the Allies in Normandy. Has created here a resistance group, which under her leadership conducted the attack on the main tent gestapo and German armories in Mountuconu. After the landing of allied troops ran on the bike for more than a hundred miles through several German checkpoints to the south. There they joined the allied forces and actively, with arms in their hands, participated in the liberation of France.

After the war she worked for the Office of the british government and for the British ministry of aviation. In 1960 she married John Forwarda and returned to Australia, where he lives today. She has won these honors:
