In 1969, under the leadership of plk. mgr. eng. Zbigniew Węglarz from the Pila High Officer Automobile School in Pila an interesting design of a tracked trainer vehicle. A simple platform with five tire wheels on each side was created(of which the front wheel was tensioning, the rear wheel was driving). Simple tracks were tensioned on the wheels. This simple vehicle received the designation MPG-69 (Mały Pojazd Gąsienicowy). Two versions of the vehicle were created.

The first version was a vehicle intended for training crawler tractor drivers. The vehicle was just a bare chassis, powered by a two-cylinder four-stroke M-72 motorcycle engine with 22 horsepower. The vehicle weighed approximately 700 kg and reached a top speed of 50 km/h.

The second version was a vehicle designed for training drivers of tanks (T-54/T-55) and other tracked vehicles. This vehicle received a steel body made of inclined plates. In shape it resembled Jagdpanzer 38(t) or Maresal tank fighters. The vehicle was powered by a two-stroke three-cylinder S-31 engine from the Syrena 104 with 40 hp. The vehicle had twin wheels and wider tracks. The vehicle weighed approximately 1200 kg and had an excellent ground pressure of 0.08 kg/cm², giving it excellent off-road handling. The top speed was 35 km/h. The internal equipment, instrumentation, periscopes and controls were the same as those found in the tanks. In the vehicle there were seats for the pupil and the instructor. The instructor had a brake pedal, steering lever and switch box and had a large window in front of him for a better view.

These vehicles were an inexpensive alternative for driver training (the saving per km of driving was 256 zloty) and were used in all training units where tank driver training took place. The number of vehicles built is unknown to me.
