American cartridge with a direct cartridge for a single-shot Sharps rifle from the second half of the seventies of the 19th century. The 35.64 g projectile has a muzzle velocity of 410 m/sec. The charge is without bottom markings. On the right is a 7.92x57 round. Photo author.
