Panzerkampfwagen 38 (t) Ausführung G (Pz. Kpfw. 38 (t) Ausf. G)
Light tank produced by Českomoravská strojírna (ČMS) - German: Böhmisch-Mährische Maschinenfabrik (BMM) from 1939 to 1942 for the Armed Forces of the Third Reich (Wehrmacht) and SS troops (Waffen SS).

A short history
The mentioned type was structurally based on the serial export combat vehicle TNH-P (P - Persian, Iranian). In 1937, it was prepared by the ČKD factory for a new customer - the Swedish army - allegedly under the internal designation TNH-S (S - Swedish). The Czechoslovak Armed Forces took over the TNH-S prototype for testing and later included it in its armament. Representatives of Czechoslovakia. armies took over the first serial piece from the CKD. The other nine pieces were taken over by representatives of the "MNO in liquidation" for the German Armed Forces. The remaining number of tanks were taken over by Wehrmacht officers.

At the beginning, the Germans were not sure whether to include this tank in their arsenal, so in correspondence with the company BMM (CKD) used the abbreviation LTM.38 (Leichte Tank Muster 38, which means: light tank model 38). Only after successful military tests was the tank included in the armament.

The seventh series of tanks in the workshop documents, sometimes referred to as: TNHP series VII, was included by the Wehrmacht in the armament under the designation and abbreviation, which are listed in the title.

Diskuse

Dear Sirs,
tank located in the Tank Museum in Munster, is a beautiful example of improvisation of unit workshops.

For example:
Sheets above the engine are used from older types A to F.
To verify whether the tower belongs to Ausf. G, I was forced to count the rivets. But, no matter how I counted, I realized that the tower was also repaired. The frontal armor and mask of the cannon were taken from older versions A to D. Whereas the adjacent side walls and stern of the tower certainly belonged to Ausf. G.
