The cartridge was developed in Germany in the early 1880s and is now completely obsolete. The 19.4 g bullet has a muzzle velocity of 503 m/sec. The bullet in the picture was manufactured by Sellier & Bellot Prague. On the right is the 7.92x57 cartridge. Photo by.
