BASA III L

BASA III L is a mobile facility for coordinating helicopter take-offs and landings in field conditions up to a distance of thirty kilometres. It is equipped with lighting and safety equipment to ensure visual approach of helicopters day and night and in NVG (night vision) mode in normal weather conditions from a distance of ten kilometres. BASA III L provides light marking out of eight helicopter stands. The kit is assembled on a common base of two air-conditioned ISO 1C containers and can be transported by air, ship or road. As far as equipment is concerned, we can talk not only about communication, light security and recording equipment, but also about a meteorological station, which is used for measuring and recording six variables, and the actual power plant. The BASA III L, with its technological equipment, enables timeless operation in field conditions
and the continuous operation of air traffic control shifts.
