The E311 was the last all-electron receiver from Siemens. It was introduced into the armament of the German (Western) and Swiss armies in 1960. It was a large, 16-electron receiver with the same tuning principle as the NDR Betraibemfanger receiver. The accuracy of the frequency reading was better than 0.5 kHz.
