The charge originated in the German-Swedish cooperation before 1. world war ii, by stretching the neck of the cartridge 6.5 x 55. The charge was used as a hunting in the originally military weapons the caliber of 6.5 after modifying the chamber and enlargement of the bore. Shot of 12.5 g has a muzzle velocity of 720 m/sec.
