21.12.2011 - Mina zabila v Afghánistánu pět polských vojáků

An armored truck MRAP with the Polish soldiers was attacked by a mine hidden in the road and the crew of 5 soldiers did not survive. It is estimated that the mine could weigh up to 150 kg. The incident happened at 11.30 am local time in provicii Ghazni province. In Afghanistan have died since march 2002, 36 of the Polish soldiers.

Vehicle type M-ATV was fourth in a convoy of six vehicles. Soldiers accompanied by specialists from the PRT on the way from the Mausoleum of Abdura Razzaqa.
All the dead belonged to the 20. mechanized brigade of Bartošic (20 Bartoszycka Brygada Zmechanizowana im. Hetman Polnego Litewskiego Wincentego Gosiewskiego) the subject 16. mechanized division (16 Pomorska Dywizja Zmechanizowana im. Króla Of Jagiellończyka).
