On November 4, 1946, the company Škoda, among others, submitted a proposal for the lafetation of the 305 mm B-20 heavy mortar under development (the development was started during the German occupation) on the chassis of a German medium tank Pz.Kpfw.V Panther. Skoda produced two drawings Zb-16053-P and Zb-16054-P dated 10.10.1946. The weapon was to be lapped in the hull roughly at the level of the turret mounting, the backing plate was to be folded between the tracks. The prototype was to use the original form of the Panther tank, with the platform to have reduced armour thickness at the start of eventual production to reduce the overall weight of the vehicle. The hubs were to be positioned above the engine. The project was probably soon cancelled, possibly due to prolonged development work on the minelayer itself.
