I would like to make a few comments about the Ford car shown. It is described as a Ford WOT6 but the picture shows a WOT8. It was only one and a half ton weighing 3860kg. This wagon was the only one and a half tonne lorry produced in the UK. Several were in the armament of the Czechoslovak Armoured Brigade in the UK (Tank Battalion 3 and Motoprapor). One piece has survived in the Czech Republic and is in private hands.

I made a mistake. Of course, this Ford was not the only one and a half tonne lorry produced in the UK, but the only one of this weight to have four wheel drive.

If I'm not mistaken, this vehicle in the attached photo should also be this type (WOT), however, I admit that I have a little bit of mobility, whether it is WOT6 or WOT8.
I'm also a little bit confused whether it is Ford or Fordson, but I'm sure (and absolutely) that it is a vehicle in the colors of the Czechoslovakian Army, virtually its 3 tpr and the company designation is also visible, at least on the original photo for sure.

It is undoubtedly a WOT8 type from Tank Battalion 3, 1st Company. But it is a version from the end of the war (split cab with handrails, missing fender flares, mechanical construction for the reserve instead of hydraulic and a hatch over the passenger) The brigade used both Ford and Fordson designations. Fordson is the designation of the British branch of the Ford concern ( in Belgium it was Matford). This type was used by our unit in large numbers (Tank battalions, engineer company, transport detachment, artillery regiment, field park and with the MNO) V.F
