The depicted 60 cm searchlight was also used in our post-war air force (because it was originally a German design with the designation "Světlomet 60N") as a lighting device of the air safety service and served to illuminate the runway, especially its threshold and landing point.

In 1953, the M.J. was in the 5th Company of Air Defence Equipment at Žatec Airport. (Replaced by a mobile APM-90).
It was still in a non-functional state in 1957!

Gentlemen,
according to my information, this headlight also had these German markings:

- Wehrmacht / SS-Waffen markings: 60-cm Flak Scheinwerfer 36, or 60-cm Scheinwerfer 36
- Abbreviation: 60-cm Flak-SW 36, or 60-cm SW 36
