13.02.2012 - Kanada: Vrtulník způsobil výpadek skoro celého města

A Bell CH-146 Griffon helicopter from 408th Tactical Helicopter Squadron, 1 Wing, Royal Canadian Air Force, 408 Tactical Helicopter Squadron "Goose", 1 Wing, Royal Canadian Air Force, hit a power line while flying to Yellowknife Airport at 7:50 a.m. local time. This caused about an hour-long blackout in most of Yellowknife.
The helicopter landed safely and all three people on board escaped without injury. The machine itself was heavily damaged.
The helicopter was participating in an Arctic Ram exercise. The squadron is based at CFB Edmonton.
