11 x 37 R Grenzaufseher

11 x 37 R Grenzafseher

A literal translation would read "Guard the border". A German rifle bullet which came into the world sometime around the year 1880. On the photo dna is to see the damage which occurred probably when reloading. Another interesting feature of the crown is engraved at 12 o'clock, quite often used on Swedish and Danish cartridges. At 6 o'clock is but recognizable fragment of the word MÜNCHEN, which Sweden or Denmark as a manufacturer of excludes. To the right is the charge of the 7.62 x 39, photo by author..

Indications MÜNCHEN belonged before 1918 "Bayrisches Heereszeugamt, München", crown top would have the shape match the bavarian royal crown (that's a little different than the German). The charge, therefore, was probably made in the Bavarian kingdom, which belonged to the German confederation, but was under a separate and even in WWI were the bavarian forces under his own command, and even planes should have its own label. Number (81?) on the third hour could be the year of production
