M10 with Type 91 105 mm Howitzer
China remodeling tds on samohybnou howitzer
Chinese conversion the M10 he 105mm self-propelled howitzer

By order of the command of the ROC AF in the winter of 1948, in shanghai railway workshops Jiangwan was created self-propelled howitzer, by adjusting the tower spg M10 Wolverine for 105mm captured by the japanese howitzer pattern 2591 (Type 91). The cannon was delivered from the military armory no. 60 in Nanjing. The first attempt at reconstruction was not successful and so the guns were reworked in the workshops 61. military armory. Internet reporter Bai-du lists the names of the persons who participated in the reconstruction of the weapons, but sadly, I'm not able to this text to convert it into meaningful fonts.

From taiwanese sources, it is not clear whether the in the third civil war were self-propelled howitzers deployed in the fighting. One thing is certain, however, that with a retreating Kuomintangem were on the island of Taiwan. Here, then, serve for 4. ward in 44. brigade.

Self-propelled howitzers were reportedly showcased at military parades in the years 1951 and 1952. To download howitzers of the equipment occurred in the fifties, thanks to the delivery of north american works M7.

After the delisting, were left two pieces, the first was in game-playing school and the second was at 44. brigade. Sadly, neither of these weapons is not preserved in its original form. Because, the military leaders left the spg will take "again rearm" decoy anti-tank weapons - supposedly to avoid misleading the public - and I quote: "... the most people don't understand that it's M10 ...".

Diskuse

Dear,
according to the below the i-sites from the years 2006-2008, left over from the two units set aside for museum purposes, only one of which is located in the grounds crew at Hukou in the north Tajvanu. The base allegedly belonging 542. armored brigade, subordinate to 6. the army corps.

In contrary to this information, however, were found photos that show two design variants exhibit M10. Both machines are located in the area "Hukou Camp". Photo taken from Flickr and Wikimedia, suggest two variants of "overkill" for museum purposes.
