Ahmad Džabarí, also known as Abu Muhammed, was born in 1960 in východogazské district Šidžaíja. He started his career as a member of Fatah, but after 13 years in an israeli prison switched to Hamas. Survived several israeli attempts to eliminate. In 2006 he became the temporary commander of the Brigades of Izz ad-Dinah al-Kasáma, the military wing of the palestinian terrorist organization Hamas, after his predecessor badly injured during the strike by the IDF. In the following year he actively participated in the forcible takeover of power in Gaza. He then worked on enlarging the arsenal of Hamas and the improvement of the infrastructure for the implementation of the rocket attacks on Israel. Israel states that he was directly responsible for the increasingly frequent rocket attacks southern Israel and played an important role in the kidnapping of Gilad Shalit. Disposed of was 14. November 2012 during a raid by the IDF/IAF.
