Pilot To. in To. Luftfahrtruppe and the Czechoslovak military air force
Unit: Flik 18, Flik 22D, in the CZECHOSLOVAK republic then Pilot school fighter

Holder of the austrian-Hungarian pilot's licence FAI no. 202 of 23. August 1915.
Then he was sent to Flik 18 on the Russian front. 26. February 1916 received the aviation badge Feldpilot.
Later he was transferred to Flik 22D. Here 31. August 1918, he was nearly shot down by a british "Cameli" from the 45. wing. Walk piloted double machine UGAGu 161.107, where to place the observer sat (ex-artillery officer) Leutnant in der Reserve Emil Bauer. Unfortunately, the observer on the consequences of the injury the next day 1. September 1918 he died.
After the end of the war he served in the Czechoslovak air force as a flying instructor.
In 1922 is guided in the aviation school in Cheb as an instructor Pilot school fighter in the rank of staff sergeant. In 1927 is the commander of the fighter school, then-captain Josef Hamsik, the main instructor of so-called "Chief pilot" is master sergeant František Procházka, whom the students nicknamed "Fotýrek".
In 1934 is the fighter school moved to Prostejov, with her chief pilot no ensign Walk.
For his activity was extraordinarily (did not score graduation education) 28. February 1938, promoted to lieutenant of the Czechoslovak air force.

IN TO. in To. Luftfahrtruppe reached the rank of Stabsfeldwebel, in the Czechoslovak military air force reaching the rank of Lieutenant of the air force.


Honors: Gold medal for bravery (officially he was awarded up to 9. October 1920)
