Note: 		Záslužný kříž byl ustanoven dne 5. 7. 1997 v Hradci Králové a je veden jako nedílná součást Gardy města Hradce Králové. O propůjčení kříže či jeho odejmutí rozhoduje valná hromada občanského sdružení Gardy města Hradce Králové hlasováním, podle svých platných stanov.


 Cross of Merit was established on 5 7th 1997 in Hradec Králové and is recognized as an integral part of the Guard of Hradec Kralove. The bestowal of the cross or its withdrawal by the Annual General Meeting of the Civil Guard Association of the city of Hradec Kralove vote under their existing statutes.

Badge: 		Základním symbolem Záslužného kříže je stříbrně lemovaný, bíle smaltovaný osmihrotý kříž. Kříž má středový rudě smaltovaný medailon. Avers (přední strana) medailonu nese heraldické zvíře- bílého dvouocasého lva s korunou ve skoku, vlevo otočeného, jehož zbraně mají zlaté tinktury. Lev drží velké písmeno G ve zlatě. Revers (zadní strana) nese vyryté pořadové číslo kříže a rok udělení. Mezi rameny kříže jsou vsazeny celkem čtyři svatováclavské koruny. Kříž je podložen vojenskou dekorací - zkříženými meči.


Merit fundamental symbol of the cross is flanked by silver, white enamel eight-pointed cross. The cross has a central red enamel medallion. Obverse (front) bears the heraldic animal medallion-and-white double-tailed lion rampant with the crown, left rotated, whose guns have gold tincture. Lion holding a large letter G in gold. Reverse (back) carries a serial number engraved on the cross and the year award. Between the arms of the cross are placed four Crown of St. Wenceslas. The cross is supported military decorations - crossed swords.

Stužka:
Ribbon Bar: 		Záslužný kříž zastupuje i malá stužka výšky 10mm, šíře a barevné rozdělení jako velká stuha. Na stužce je umístěna stříbrná miniatura zkřížených mečů.


Cross of Merit represents a small ribbon height 10mm, width, and color distribution as a large ribbon. The ribbon is placed a silver miniature of crossed swords.
