Originally a black powder charge, designed in 1872 by the Englishman Westley Richards. The charge survived the transition to smokeless dust and was used in the Brazilian Navy. It was also used as a hunting lodge, today it is completely obsolete. The 32.4 g projectile has a muzzle velocity of 410 m/sec.
