Percy Carl Klaehn, sa was born in 1896 in the village of Valleyfield, Quebec.

After the outbreak of the 1. st. army enters the army and, slúži in Ľahkej pechoty princess Patricia (Princess Patricias Light Infantry) and suffer zranenie at Vimy Ridge (1917).
