Engine vznikol other vývojom engineand RM2, got the chamber prídavného spaľovania and označenie RM2A.
The first years with motorom RM2A graduated prototype SAAB J 29D of the day 20.3.1954.
Other modifications of the engineand a final verzia engineand with the designation of the RM2B that poháňala lietadlá SAAB J 29F. Licenčná production version of RM2 and RM2B prebiehala in rokoch 1952-1955.
