I really ask for advice or information. My great-grandfather took part in the First World War. I have some old photographs from his estate which show footage of the war fighting. On the back is written Battle of Maračešt' my presence 3.8.1917 and on the other the battle in negervalt. I tried to trace where these battles were but unfortunately I can't find this name. It's probably written colloquially so the correct title will probably be different.
Can someone please answer me if you know what the correct name of these battlefields is?
