Me 262 a-1a (the"white 8", W.Nr. 110400), the Luftwaffe Nowotny, Achmer, 8.11.1944. Major Walter Nowotny it was in this aircraft shot down during the attack on the american bombers escort fighters on the machines P-51D Mustang (Capt. Ernest Fiebelkorn, 20th Fighter Group and 1st Lt. Edward "Buddy" Haydon, the 357th Fighter Group). Stricken Me 262 a-1a crashed into the earth at Epe, 2.5 kilometers east of Hesepe. Nowotnyho aircraft carrying the camouflage consisting of the shades of RLM 82, 81 and 76..

Me 262 a-1a (the"white 9", W.Nr. 111617) of the armaments 10./EJG 2. The plane was allied soldiers found in a badly damaged condition by the highway in the area of Hofoldingerského the forest south of Munich in may 1945. The machine was then towed to a nearby staging area of aviation technology of the Luftwaffe, where it was eventually scrapped..

Me 262 a-1a (the"red 13") of the armaments Stab III./EJG 2, the air base of Lechfeld, march 1945. On the machine flew Oberstleutnant Heinz Bär. The aircraft was carrying a camouflage consisting of the colors of RLM 81, 82 and 76.

Me 262 A-1a/U3 (W.Nr. 500453) is now the property of the Flying Heritage Collection, in Arlington (state Washington). At the end of the war, the aircraft was captured by the Americans at the Lechfeld base in Germany and received the designation T-2-4012 (resp. FE-4012). He was transported from Europe to the USA on board the ship HMS Reaper. At Wright Field, it was later used for comparative tests with an American fighter aircraft P-80 Shooting Star. Between May and August 1946, the aircraft made eight flights lasting 4 hours 40 minutes. The tests were then terminated due to low engine life. The aircraft in the pictures carries the camouflage of the machine Me 262 A-1a "white 9" (W.Nr. 111617), which at the end of the war operated in the group 10./EJG 2.
