Good day,
I would like to ask, as it was with sanitárními sections within the organizational structure of the austro-Hungarian army. Were these sections under the infantry regiments, or were they completely separate?
I found that one of my ancestors was r. 1899 enlisted in the 21. infantry regiment in Čáslav and later translated to 12. sanitárnímu section in Joseph (To. u. to. Sanitätsabteilung Nr. 12). In r. 1909 then was translated as a midfielder to 12. zeměbraneckému infantry regiment in Čáslav. During the mobilization in r. 1914, however, he joined again to 12. sanitárnímu section in Joseph. It means, therefore, that this section was under the zeměbranecký regiment? And is it possible somewhere to find out whether this section is moved during the war at the front?.
