Professor Phdr. Tomáš Durdík, Drsc., was a significant Czech kastelologem and archaeologist. During his professional life researched a variety of fortified settlements, some of which, such as castles, Křivoklát or Týřov examined the long-term, and reached here the many discoveries and findings. He left behind an impressive piece of work, follow-up on work And. Sedláček and D. Andreas kröper, as well as other Czech kastelologů. Vypublikoval a number of book publications - for all uvedmě the Illustrated encyclopedia of Czech castles, he published many professional articles and was the editor of the proceedings of the Castellologica bohemica. In addition, he has worked in many other companies and newsrooms. For his work he was rewarded with e.g. the price of Europa Nostra.
