Italy has been affected by the earthquake with the epicenter near Rieti, which has so far claimed 120 victims, however this is not yet the final balance. Missing is for 150 people. The most devastating aftershock of a magnitude of 6.2 degrees occurred in the early early hours of the morning. This was followed by (or followed by) a number of shocks. Some of them have caused even more damage to property, when many buildings were pobořené or damaged the first strong shocks. Damaged was a number of valuable monuments. The mansion, which was the most affected are Accumoli, Amatrice and Pescara del Tronto. Tremors were quite enough to feel even in Rome itself. After a period of time before emergency events let the paramedics and somewhere, even the military, very actively, albeit often only with their bare hands saving the lives of gridlock from local residents, who often continued even after the arrival of rescuers. They are generally local deployed forces evaluated positively, albeit i encountered information that one of the affected cities near the set crew so far not to participate in the rescue work. But it may be due to the subjective gaze of the people affected. The tragedy no longer expressed the cell number of european statesmen, the party could not stay even pope Francis, who report on the damage and victims adopted from a deep sorrow and remotely to thank all the first responders and volunteers. Also the Italian prime minister Renzi expressed his admiration and respect especially amateur first responders (i.e. people who were usually first on the scene of a disaster). Czech prime minister Sobotka expressed his condolences to the victims of the disaster and declared that the government waits to see if possibly Italy has not raised any requests for any assistance from the Czech side.
