It is already a hundred years what 23. September 1916 in the family of a railway inspector, was born Karel Miroslav Kuttelwascher. After graduating from business school he joined the air force, where he served as a fighter pilot. After the occupation he went through Poland in the emigration. He has established himself during the French campaign. However, their greatest achievements are up in the ranks of the RAF. It already as a (mostly) night fighter pilot. His achievements him to include on the first line between the czechoslovak aces. Between the night fighters of the RAF then took 6. place, which in itself is honorable, however, if we consider the fact that as the only one exclusively made for hurricane each without the radar (compared to the others, who fly mainly heavy jets with radars), so that's about it úctihodnější. Then he got in the next operating tour already on the Mosquito with the radar, no any other achievements not yet reached. After returning to his homeland he served in the czechoslovak. the air force, from which he left in 1946, not knowing that avoids poúnorovým sanctions, for my british family, and already in that year he began work as a transport pilot. He died of a heart attack 18. August 1959, the old only 42 years. He holds a number of honours of the british, czechoslovak and French. In 2016 it is designed to Order of the white lion, military groups.
