Chassis designed as a carrier of special superstructures for military purposes with a maximum weight of 15 900 kg when the total allowable vehicle weight 29 000 kg. Transporters for RBS-70 NG


Even the newly acquired anti-aircraft missile complexes RBS-70 NG will not be operated on an adequate combat platform (the older systems RBS-70 are operated using Tatra 810 PVO and Tatra 810-V-P-MBS trucks, respectively). Instead, the Ministry of Defence purchased 16 Tatra 815-7T3R31.411 6x6 truck-mounted vehicles for the needs of the 252nd Anti-Aircraft Missile Detachment.1R with accessories to enable the transport of personnel and components of the anti-aircraft complex RBS-70 NG when operating on public roads, in difficult terrain conditions and when towing a trailer. The anti-aircraft complexes are expected to reach full operational capability by 2023, with deployment in NATO Response Forces between 2024 and 2026.


The supplier of the vehicles is the state enterprise Military Technical Institute. The public contract for the acquisition of the vehicles for CZK 271,403,000 was concluded on 22 April 2021. All vehicles are to be delivered by December 2022. Within the framework of the three contracts, Military Technical Institute acquired the above-mentioned Tatra 815-7 trucks from TATRA TRUCKS, Harris communication equipment with accessories from Interlink CS, and camouflage kits and vehicle body insulation from B.O.I.S. - Filters.


The vehicles were introduced into the armament of 252nd Anti-Aircraft Missile Detachment under the name Tatra 815-7 6x6 PVO.
