The Finnish army used rocket launchers vz. 70/85, under the designation of RAKH 89. Their user is an Artillery brigade (Tykistöprikaati) dislokovaná in the crew Niinisalo. Originally from the armament of the army of the GDR and Finland has the 36 specimens that were probably manufactured between the years 1985 to 1987. Roughly in 1986 was launched the lengthy negotiations on the supply of rocket launchers vz. 70/85 for the needs of the zimbabwean army. The conclusion of the contract was primarily for a payment (in)ability of the customer, who a few years earlier demanded such as free delivery of the aircraft the L-39 Albatros, and a similar practice wanted to apply in the case of rocket launchers. 20 vehicles vz. 70/85 should be eventually to Zimbabwe delivered in 1992. The machine pictured was photographed on 9.8.2011 in zimbabwe, the Day of the armed forces. The zimbabwean army for launchers vz. 70/85 uses probably the designation MRL-70/85.
