In 1936, the project of a support vehicle on the platform of a light tank AMC 35 (ACG 1) was developed for cavalry units. The original hull was replaced by a high superstructure. In its front part, a 75 mm gun derived from the B 1ter tank was to be mounted. On the ceiling of the superstructure was to be mounted a small fully pivoting turret with a small calibre machine gun. The vehicle was to be fitted with a radio station. Only an unfinished/unarmed prototype was produced, which was used for a vehicle fulfilling a completely different purpose after the project was cancelled in 1937. It was a unique conversion to a smoke tank (smoke generator).

Renault ACG 2 - Dlho bol účel tohoto vozidla neznámy. Pôvodne sa uvažovalo, že ide o nejakú veliteľskú modifikáciu Renault R 35, no v skutočnosti išlo o zadýmovací tank na platforme ACG 2.
