Armoured car of the AMD (auto-mitrailleuse de cavalerie, type découverte) category. It was a long-range reconnaissance vehicle. It was the last armoured car to use the old concept of vehicles of this category, which used the platform of standard light trucks with rear-wheel drive for the armoured vehicle. It was an evolutionary offshoot of the White TBCLaffly 50 AM[/url] - Laffly 50 AM, but in this case a new body was used. The turret (Avis NO2) and armament were also new. The latter consisted of a large-calibre machine gun instead of a cannon as in its predecessors. The completed prototype was tested in 9-10/1934. In 1935, only a small batch of 28 armoured vehicles was produced. These served in North Africa, where they remained in service until at least the end of the fighting in 1943.
