the Translation of the word Troop to English

In the English word Troop cannot be avoided translation equivalent according to the context, as it is not clearly and exclusively associated with any Czech word. There is no word that could be used in all outbreaks without it did not give me any big problems and collisions. Unit with name Troop in various anglophone armies appearing at various stages - as the equivalent of a company, battery, půlbaterie and platoon.
