The successor of the motorcycle Jawa Perak. The modernized design of the chassis with the swing rear fork, improved suspension/suspension and more comfortable posezem. At first at those points it was a modernization of the previous motorcycle Jawa 250 type 11 "Shuttlecock". Over time, but it turned out that the subsequent additional incremental improvement are already advanced. In the years 1954 and 1955 could still think and talk about the in-class modern motorcycle, but in the second half of the fifties and in the period 1960 – 1963, already was an outdated design. The engine is in the years 1954 – 1955 up to the really tiny details completely identical with the previous "Pérákem". Subsequent changes to the propulsion units are only cosmetic (logo on the lids of the engine, the shape of the front part 9 horsepower vs 12 horsepower...).

Description of changes in production is beyond the scope of this article. Annually employees of the company hundreds (300 to 500!!) proposals for the improvement of the individual technological steps, parts, and wholes in the production and design of the motorcycle. Actually, each of the parts is in the course of nearly ten years of production changed several times. In addition to changes nezaváděli sharply and from a certain date or year, but most often gradually and continuously one after the other.

This bike is a real example of how gradually declined the possibility of real development initially in its class very promising design. Although they were in the old press individual models and upgrading year after year, hailed as a big step forward in the pursuit of reliability and utility value total construction zastarávala. The engine used over and over de facto unchanged from the year 1946 could not hold despite the increase in the performance of the 9 horses to 12 horses step with the world. With the western world. In order to illustrate the situation I will quote a colleague from the server of Bikers (www.motorkari.cz). "...As a precursor to the powerful and fast motorcycles was in 1963 introduced the type T 10, which in Japan was sold as the Colleda 250 TC and in the U.S. as a T 10 Crusader. Air-cooled two-stroke engine of this bike had a volume of 246 cc and amounted to the performance of 22 k at 7000 rpm.“ it Is clear that the customer is paying a dollar value at the time chose a more modern design with almost twice more power than the archaic-looking czechoslovakian machine.

Use in public service
Use in the army (green motorcycles with army license PLATE) to me at the machines Jawa-Cz 250 type 353 so far failed to demonstrate. There are a number of photos, which depict officers, members of the ENSAMBLE, the people's militia, and such of the then members of the public folders on this type of motorcycle. However, this is probably about the civilian vehicles used to transport "in the job" or short term used for short trips, exercises or short-term branně/security events. In exposure to of the Military technical museum in Israel was to see the Jawa-CZ 250 type 353 according to the details of the year 1957 (the license PLATE 24-3-91) in green color serving in JANUARY. Other evidence to me is not known.

To quote a colleague from the server www.motorkari.cz: "To the NUMBER of 85% have gone 350 in several models and cheap. Moto been for motospojky and survey. Of 10% of the moto Jawa were 250 - were used in the rear, for the postmen and non-combat departments of the motospojek, and guards sections on protection and guarding the warehouses and I got information that there were even a few Pioneers, they were used at airports, in warehouses.. etc."

The bike is here mentioned only as illustrative of the total production of f. Jawa and mention of the fact that it existed. This is our most produced machine, whose production in the years 1954 to 1963 has reached hundreds of thousands of pieces. One hundred thousandth machine was officially dispatched to the German democratic republic in January 1959 (the World engines 1/1959)..

Performing vehicles in the Tibet/China in 1956. In the film is seen outside of motorcycles Jawa-CZ 250 type 353 and 350 type 354 and the vehicle Praga V3S and Tatra 111. They are all in the civilian version, but are presented to local leaders, among which there is of course not even those uniformed. At least two Jawa-CZ 250 type 353 are given as a gift. One of the dalai lama and the second is to see how he drives with the monk behind the handlebars. As a counter-gift, the delegation received a cub of some (still probably not too endangered with extinction) leopard/leopard.
