PVP is able to its technical solution, equipment and capacity to reliably perform tasks of military veterinary services in all types of operations. As a matter of priority is designed to ensure the activities of individual system devices of the medical security in the field (Role 2E/3), when the deployment of the components of the ACR in the missions and to the performance of the tasks of the health security of the army in peace. The workplace has a further option to use for the needs of liquidation of the diseases on the territory of the Czech republic and in the use of the Army of the CZECH republic as components of the Integrated rescue system.
Project for the development of PVP was launched in August 2011 and lasted until December 2013. The development and prototype production to ensure the company MEDTEC-VOP, s. r. o. the Total recognised costs reached the amount of 14 346 000 Czk were covered from the budget Ministry of defense. Prototype PVP was introduced into the armaments Military veterinary institute. In the framework of public procurement of Medical and veterinary modules – container workplace (the contract concluded in November 2016 with the VTU) involving the supply of 12 pieces of specialised medical and veterinary modules destined for the equipment of field hospitals and veterinary services the ACR was delivered the second piece of PVP for the sum 13 598 300 Rubles, which was the Czech army passed in the year 2017..

PVP is designed for the activities of the veterinary staff to secure the performance of supervisory activity, for the basic examination of the collected biological samples, food and raw materials, for specialized examination and treatment of service dogs, wild animals and farm animals, and for the capture and immobilization of animals. The workplace is part of a larger logistic unit and is logistically separate. PVP can work independently without replenishment of stocks of consumables for a minimum period of 21 days. For PVP it's used double-sided pull-out container ISO 1C with the separate technological parts and expert office. Part of PVP is the tent of the workplace rozvinované as needed. The PVP is equipped with the basic technologies (air conditioning unit, power distribution, lighting, air distribution, water management, etc.), specific buildings (operating and examination table, labour table, cabinets, etc.) and specific equipment (laboratory equipment, veterinary kits, etc.)
