The niger air force came in a chopper Mil Mi-35M that crashed during the support of the military, and specifically its 145. the battalion, during the fighting with Boko Haram. The machine crashed in the Damasaku, Northern Borno state while killing all five crew members in the composition of the Flight Lieutenant Perowei Jacob - pilot, Flight Lieutenant Kaltho Paul Kilyofas - co-pilot, Sergeant Auwal Ibrahim – on-board techniques, Lance Corporal Adamu Nura – shooter, Meshack Ishmael – shooter. The cause of the accident is not entirely clear (it could be an accident or downing).
