The Russian army lost 3 of his men, who were killed in an accident in Abkhazia, the other two were injured. The accident occurred when an armored wheeled transporter BTR-80 traveling in a convoy of other vehicles, drove from unknown causes into a ravine. It is not known whether the cause of the accident is driver error, a defect on the vehicle or bad communication status. Two wounded soldiers were transporting to the nearest military hospital by helicopter Mil Mi-8. The nature of their injuries is not known.
