The venezuelan air forces lost a helicopter from the unit 4. Group (Grupo 4) Eurocopter AS 532AC Cougar / Eurocopter AS 532UC Cougar / Eurocopter AS 532UL Cougar, reg 59180, which crashed in the El Volcán, El Hatillo, Miranda. The accident killed all 7 people onboard - 3 crewmembers Alexis Alejandro Ávila Guerrero (pilot), Cap. Carlos Eugenio Ramírez Dávila (copilot) and We. Jacinto Alexander Rengifo Rodriguez (on-board technician) and 4 passengers Tcnel. Fernando Betancourt Ponte, Cap. César Barreto Galán, Cap. Felipe Amaya Villafran and Tcnel. Tomás Enrique Ortega Valero (flight attendant?).
