Description
The book of memoirs of Nikolai N. Nikulina (*1923 - †2009), the second world war. In 1941 he was drafted into the army. He fought in the infantry and artillery on the Leningrad and Volchovském front. He has participated in almost all operations in breaking the blockade of Leningrad. Their involvement in the war ended in Berlin. During the war he was four times wounded, and he was awarded: Order of the Red star, Medal For the defense of Leningrad, For the liberation of Warsaw, For the conquest of Berlin and two Medal for courage. To civilian life returned in 1945.

Podľa mňa ide o jeden z najnaturálnejšie podaných popisov bojov na východnej fronte. Je vidieť, že autor, po vojne vyštudovalší dejiny umenia, potreboval zo seba dostať otrasné vojnové zážitky.
