Czechoslovakian variation of the half-track vehicle, based on the original 3-ton H kl 6 chassis of the German artillery tractor Sd.Kfz.11. It was probably a product of the Pilsen company Škoda, which produced these German tractors for the German army. According to the photographs, the conversion was quite extensive and it can be said that it is a unique Czechoslovakian constuction. The vehicle had an extended chassis (probably due to the larger engine). Both the bonnet and the superstructure were original. The crew cabin was also modified. The canopies were probably of a new type. The vehicle was fitted with a 6-cylinder Tatra diesel engine. This conversion (engine) bore the designation V 985. Photographs No.7288 and No.7291 of this prototype can be found in the source below. The photographs are dated 1948. I wonder if in the case of this vehicle it was not the conceptual forerunner of the later 3-ton artillery tractor project, which the company Škoda worked on developing in 1950, and which was probably based on the armoured personnel carrier project KOBO-3. I'm missing more information.
