54, according to other sources, 49 of the victims, claimed the attack IS on the position of the army between the towns of Ménaka and Ansongo, near the border with Nigeria. Among the victims is the exception of the malian soldiers and 1 civilian. This is one of the largest losses in the malian army in recent years.
