T-III/1, T-III/2 and T-III/3
A few comments on the above text:
1/ The marking does not correspond completely to Praga's conventions. The marking of the vehicles here was rather unclear and even chaotic. Moreover, both ČKD and Praga were able to change the naming of the machine according to the customer's wishes.
2/ The abbreviation is probably derived by the author from German sources: le. Raupenschlepper T-3-III (or T-III-3). Which could mean - tractor, type III of the third series.
3/ From 1907 the ČKD concern owned the Praga car factory. During its existence, it absorbed the Breitfeld and Daněk machine factory in Slánská, which produced BD 25 HP and BD 30 HP tractors. In the 1930s, Pragovka modernized them and renamed them Praga III tractors. Two series of these vehicles were delivered to the Czechoslovak army.
4/ Series 3 tractors were designed with the original intention of exporting them to Dutch India.
Praga T-3-III - characteristics: high-speed tractor - short history: the light crawler tractor was developed by ČKD for export to Dutch India. The design used parts originally intended for the ČKD F-IV-H light floating tank. - Type of vehicle: light tracked tractor - produced: 40 pieces + 1 "Dutch" prototype - Year of manufacture: - German. designation: leichter Raupenschlepper T-3-III (t) neue Ausführung - or T-III-3 (due to spelling variation) - weight: 5,4 Mg (tonnes) - length: 3,95 m - width: 1,73 m - height: 2,26 m - specific pressure: 29.4 kPa (0.3 kg/cm2) - crew: 2 persons - engine: Praga, type (not yet specified), 6 cylinders, water-cooled - capacity: 4387 cm3 - power: 57,4 kW (78 hp) at 2300 rpm. - Speed: up to 30 km/h - range: 220 km - not armoured - without equipment - carrying capacity: 6 operators or 600 kg on the vehicle - transport capacity, in tow: up to 2 Mg (tonnes)
Marginal note This machine did not serve in the pre-war Czechoslovak army and could only get into the army of the first Slovak Republic thanks to the help of the Wehrmacht and its allies.
The technical data are taken from the book by the members of the Diffrology Club, Mr. Vladimir Francev and Mr. Charles Kliment.

[b:7efec39a79]the Kit of the CKD[/b:7efec39a79] Thanks for the beautiful photos of the tests of the prototype artillery tractor Praga T-3. Claims colleagues Brana, my and mr And. F. Nuyta from the Netherlands, not in zájemném contrary.
Company CKD used in the construction of vehicles already developed parts. In the production of several of the dimensions of the undercarriage of wheels, several sizes of swinging arms, shoulder of the undercarriage of the trucks, the differently dimensioned cushioning these swinging arms, the shoulders, the number of transmissions of the system of Wilson, a few náhonových systems, the widths of the articles of the belts, and the like. Everything has been designed for the different weight groups of the vehicles. Engineers from the department of the SPE were able to assemble the vehicle with a minimum of newly developed parts.
Assumed if a larger weight, so the vehicle received at this weight dimensioned components, kits and more powerful engines. From the point of view of modeling may be to recognize this by comparing the dimensions of the undercarriage wheels (AH-IV-P versus the AH-IV-S), or varying the spacing between the axes of the pojezdných rental (F4H). In short, the greater the vehicle weight, the greater the length of contact of the belt with the ground.
The tower tančíky AH-IV, the design weight in the range of from 3,500 to 4680 kg. Floating tančík F-IV, component weight up to 6500 kg. Artillery tractor T-3/III, component weight up to 3900 kg could be towed vehicles weighing 3000 kg.
On the prototype and series production artillery tractor T-3/III is in the materials CKD a minimum of information, the same is true of the prototypes floating tank F-IV-He and F-IV-Hz (E as "on the export", as a test, or German: zwei "second piece").
I was therefore forced to compare the photos supplied by a colleague Branem with photographs published in the books of colleagues Franceva and Clement. In short, the prototype T-3/III was used to driving wheels of smaller diameter as close to the tank, the AH-IV. Whereas the serial machines seized Wehrmachtem was installed, a smaller lightweight travel bike, visually identical to the wheels used for 1. and 2. the prototype of a floating tank F-IV-H. Also a drawing showing the assembly of the tractor T-3-III shows a wheel similar to the F4H.
