I am proud to be a United States Coast Guard.
I honor that long line of distinguished seamen who by their service devotion and self-sacrifice have enabled me to be a member of a service so honored and respected, in peace and war, throughout the world.
I will never, by word or deed, cast aspersions on the honorable name of my service, nor allow others to do so without consequence.
I will enthusiastically and willingly obey all lawful orders.
I will always be on time for exchanges, and will endeavor to do more, rather than less, than I am granted.
I will always be at my post, alert and performing my duties.
I must, to the best of my ability, give my supervisors results, not problems.
I must live joyfully, but always with consideration for the rights and privileges of others.
